nontraditional sources
For a nontraditional source, I want my students to bring in a section of the newspaper. They will examine that section and circle or highlight everything that has to do with probability and statistics. I hope that my students will be able to see that they come across probability and statistics even in the comfort of their own home while they read the newspaper.
Students may have to eventually cut out the different sections and make a collage poster with all of their sections.
The date that the newspaper will need to be brought in will be announced.
